Lynnette M. Sutter

SAEGERTOWN - On Jan. 23, 2010, at 4:50 a.m., Lynnette M. Woge Sutter, 49, chose to go home on her terms from Shadyside Hospital due to surgery complications following a miraculous 381-day battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 8, 1960, in Meadville to Lewis and Doris Brown and Lester and Phyllis Woge.
On Sept. 6, 1981, she welcomed her only child, Rhiannon Leigh Sutter. Lynnette took great pride in watching her grow and in gaining a son-in-law, Joseph Bollis. Joe and Rhiannon blessed her with a granddaughter, Hawleigh Laine Bollis, on Oct. 5, 2008. At 3 months old, Hawleigh became Lynette's will to fight.
For 10 years, Lynnette has shared her life with her fianc�, Charles McCullough, and their 5-year-old golden boy, Sonny.
Lynnette walked through life with her siblings, Melanie Mushrush of Saegertown, Ralph Woge of Charlotte, N.C., Max Woge of Charlotte, N.C., Valerie Craft and her husband, Robert, of Venango, Rudy Woge and his wife, Shelly, of Meadville, Waldo Woge and his girlfriend, Missy Kuberek, of Meadville, Paul Brown of Saegertown, and Molly Brown and her boyfriend, Earl Acker, of Saegertown; five stepbrothers and four stepsisters. Lynette also cherished her time with her many nieces and nephews.
Lynnette's smiling face could be seen at Ricci's Restaurant and later at B&S Bar and Grill. She also enjoyed her time at Syst-a-Matic Tool & Design.
In going home, Lynnette is reuniting with all of her grandparents; her father and stepmother; a sister, Renee T. Plant; and a niece, Natasha Paige Woge.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.
The funeral and committal service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Mary Knapp of Cornerstone Church of God.
Memorials can be made to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute. The family would like to thank the staff at Shadyside Hospital and the staff at the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute.
