Lynn M. Cook

Lynn M. Cook, 75, of Centerville, PA, passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 12, 1949, in Union City, Lynn was the cherished daughter of Joan and Lloyd Kerr.

Lynn had a long and fulfilling career at Snap-Tite, now part of Parker Hannifin, where she worked for an impressive 43 years before retiring in 2014. She was proud of her work in manufacturing and made many lasting friendships along the way.

In 1993, Lynn married the love of her life, Michael W. Cook. Together, they embraced the joys of life, from watching and feeding birds to spending cherished moments with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lynn truly enjoyed the simple things in life and found happiness in her family and nature.

She is survived by her husband, Michael of Centerville; her daughter, Lola L. Vincent (Mike) of Union City; her sons, Zeke D. Merritt and his companion Jen Beebe of Corry and Zack S. Merritt of Centerville. Lynn is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Shania N. Sheeder (Austin) of Edinboro, Lilly A. Vincent of Union City and Vince and June Beebe of Corry, great grandchildren, Coledon, Waylon, and Haisyn Sheeder, along with her sisters Kim K. Kerr of Centerville, Kelly S. Eastman (Dennis) of Union City, LouAnn Young of Spartansburg, and sisters-in-law Kristine Kerr of Erie and Dolores Kerr of Union City. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Bruce and Jerry Kerr.

A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at a later date, bringing family and friends together to share memories, laughter, and love. Please stay tuned for details on the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lynn’s memory to AseraCare Hospice, 12664 US-19 Unit 1A, Waterford, Pennsylvania 16441.

  1. As I kid I spent a lot of time with Lola and the twins. One of my my vivid memories was Lynn offering me a quarter if I would kill a pesky mouse that kept running around the house! I earned that Quarter and splatted that mouse with a giant coloring book! Sorry Zeke and Zack. I think I ruined one of your coloring book!
