Lyllian Rose Austin, 4, of 324 Deadend Road, Tionesta, died at 10:28 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at 5036 Route 417, Oakland Township, Cooperstown. Born Oct. 19, 2005, she was the daughter of D.J. Lafferty and Angel Stephens. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Cindy Schill of Tionesta; maternal grandfather, Richard Austin and his wife, Doris, of Enterprise, Ala.,; maternal great-grandmothers, June Austin and Betty Patterson, both of Franklin; a brother, Branden Stephens of Oil City; a half-brother, Devon Lafferty of Cooperstown; a sister, Nevaeh Wilt of Tionesta; and a step-sister, Mariah Denny of Cooperstown. She also is survived by her uncles, Christopher Austin of Enterprise, Ala., Kenneth Lafferty and his wife, Lisa, of Erie, and her very special uncle, Richard Austin, II, whom Lyllian enjoyed spending weekends with; her aunts, Roxanne Robertson of Franklin, Teressa Zendell and her husband, Gary, of Erie and Tammy Wice of Franklin; and her great-aunts and great-uncles, John Austin and his wife, Maurinne, of Langhorn, Norman Moore and his wife, Kitty, of Reno, Edith Fitzgerald of Oil City, Betty Green and her husband, Wayne, of Danville and Pamela Patterson of Franklin. Lyllian was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arnold Lafferty and Nancy Lafferty and her maternal great-grandfather, Merle Patterson. Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. George Ruth of the Power of the Word Ministry and the Rev. Frank Wolford of the Franklin Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
