LuAnn Wachowiak

LuAnn Wachowiak, 65, passed away, unexpectedly on Monday, October 24, 2022. She was born on February 8, 1957 to the late Arthur and Lena Lucille (Taylor) Stephens. She married Joseph Wachowiak on November 19, 1981, he survives. She was a 1975 graduate of Meadville High School and continued her education with an associates degree in business. She retired from MacLean Fogg after 40 years as a machine operator. LuAnn enjoyed crafts, her dogs, and especially time with her family. In addition to her loving husband, Joseph; she is survived by four sons, Shawn Hillman of Meadville, Brain Wachowiak (Jess) of Meadville, Chad Wachowiak of Saegertown, and Jay Wachowiak of Springboro; four grandchildren, Jazlen Miller, Lena Wachowiak, Jayce Wachowiak, and Jay Wachowiak, Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and several aunts and uncles. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October, 26th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. A funeral service will follow at 5:00pm with Pastor Mark Villers, officiating. Private burial will take place at a later date at Greendale Cemetery, Meadville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in LuAnn's memory to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, Pennsylvania 16335.
