Leoda E. Cramer Leoda E. Cramer, 77, of Como, North Carolina (formerly of Franklin), passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoksie, North Carolina. Born October 10, 1933 in Franklin, Leoda was the daughter of the late Jacob and Pearl Kinnear Neely. She was married to Lewis Cramer on July 16, 1966, and he preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Cramer was a homemaker. She had attended the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church. She enjoyed Bingo, gardening with her flowers, and playing cards. She is survived by her three daughters, Theresa Lassiter and her husband, Chris, of Como, North Carolina, Susan Cramer and her friend, Terry Goodman, of Oil City, and Lisa Cramer and her fiance, Ira Crusan, of Franklin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert, Cody and Brian Lawson, of Franklin, Kevin Seigworth and Tyler Cramer of Oil City, and Terrel, Lacara and Tierra Lassister of Como, North Carolina, Christine Keith and her husband, Robert, of Cooperstown, T.J. Cramer, Tommy Cramer, and Kendra Shoffstall and her husband, Hunter, of Franklin; and her 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cramer is additionally survived by her brother, James Neely of Franklin. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Cramer was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Cramer, Sr.; her brother, Richard Neely; her sisters, Ruth Ann Daugherty, Frances Shuffstall and June Frye; her half-sisters, Bernice Early and Wilda Brittney; and her half-brother, Robert Keith. Family and friends of Mrs. Cramer will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. following visitation, with Rev. Jonathan Bell, pastor of the Franklin Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating.
