Katherine E. Hoover

Mrs Hoover was a great influence on myself in my formative years and I often think of her. I would clear the snow off her car or use the string trimmer on her front hillside for small bits of change, but she was always so gracious to have any help. As I grew older and tried to decline the money she would leave it with my mother instead! One time I confided that i had snuck out of the home and been caught. So, she shared her own stories of sneaking out of the house in the 1920’s to meet her husband, and that she would talk to my parents for me. I’m glad to have known you!
