June Smith, 88, of Moisertown Road, Meadville, passed away, Friday, November 4, 2011 at Palliative Center for Caring in Irondequoit, New York. She was born in Hayfield Township,Crawford County, PA on June 6, 1923, a daughter of Frank A. Webster and Helen Duey Webster. She married Ralph G. Smith he preceded her in death on September 9, 2006.
She was a member of Saegertown Community Church and owned and operated Smith’s Grocery Store in Meadville.
She is survived by a daughter, Audean Smith and her companion Stan of Rochester, New York.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Ralph, her parents, and a sister and brother.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday, November 9th from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00pm with Pastor Richard Haemer of Saegertown Community Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.

June was a kind, hard-working,fiesty lady who loved her husband, children, parents and siblings. She had principles and enjoyed life. She was a “great” and “wonderful” friend to us for many years and we are saddened to hear of her passing. She will be missed!
