June M. Hogue

MEADVILLE " June M. Hogue, 82, of 31 Park Ave., Meadville, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Meadville Medical Center. She was born in Albany, N.Y., March 7, 1928, a daughter of Fred and Mary Zeller Esa. She worked at Channellock in Meadville for 31 years. She enjoyed her pets and ceramics and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include a daughter, Rita Newman of Cochranton; two sons, Victor Hogue Jr. and his wife, Cathy, of Mercer, and Jeffrey Hogue and his wife, Cherie, of Meadville; two sisters, Charlotte Distefano and her husband, Augie, of Tacoma, Wash., and Ruth Baker of Cleveland, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister. There are no calling hours. Services will be private. Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Township. The family requests memorials be made to Cochranton Presbyterian Church, 109 Smith St., Cochranton, Pa. 16314.
