MEADVILLE - Julia A. Mazurkewiz, 98 of Meadville, passed away, Sunday, November 29, 2015. Julia was born on June 11, 1917, a daughter of the late John and Mary Tanecznik Mazurkewiz.
She worked at Humphries Dry-cleaning for many years.
Survivors include her sisters, Irene Nottingham and her husband Basil of Greenville; and her brother Ernest of Greenville.
Julia was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, John, Chester, Edward and Alvin Mazurkewiz and her sister Helen Unger.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service, Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Julia's name.

Growing up with Julia was a true blessing. Julia was very kind and compassionate. Many times we spent the night on Cottage St. with her and it was never dull for us trying to learn Polish. Her love of life and sense of humor are what I remember most. She loved to laugh. Especially when trying to drive!
Julia will be missed dearly.

Julia was kind to my mother Helen Barry during her stay at Juniper Village from August 2005 to December 2008. I always appreciated that. I enjoyed talking with Julia and I respected her. God bless her and her family.

Julia was very special to me. She was very kind and loving. I grew up with her as my best friend. When I had children she wrapped her love around them. I will miss her dearly.
