Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. When my wife passed I received a sympathy card from Jo. It was such a comforting message that I kept the card and read it every now and then. She made me feel good that she put a lot of thought into that card message. I will never forget her kindness.

  2. Loved Jo! She will be missed. My best memories of her are the many happy hours we shared over the years with so much laughter. I also know she held a special place in the hearts of my in laws, Joe and Jean Mazzotti. Rest in peace Jo.

  3. I am very sorry for your loss, I can remember the first time I met this beautiful little lady, she was a firecracker and loved her family fiercely. Everyone needs a mom and grandma like her. Hold the memories close. Love you all, Donna Magoun VanTassel

  4. Kimberlee, Chris and family. Hold all of the memories close to your heart of your dear mom. She will always be with you. Love you…Sue Miller

  5. My condolences to you Kim and your family. You have had the blessings of your Mom making it till 90 years. Have comfort in knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
    Bob and Terri

  6. So sorry to George & family. You’re all in my thoughts & prayers.
Oh the memories, laughs and fun Nan and Jo had❤️

  7. Words cannot express the loss we all feel! You have transitioned from your earthly life to your heavenly life. We here will always remember your great stories back in Rhode Island and your younger years. The only word I can think of to describe you is feist only in the most loving way. Your flying story with Clara, your sailor story on the beach, and your one-way street story will live on. Who can watch Pawn Stars without thinking of your pronunciation of the word.
There is no question how much you loved George and the family we have created here at Canadahota. Happy Hours have changed with the loss of our loved ones but your name along with Jacks and Gregs will be carried on through the ages.
    Your Canadohta Friends

  8. Dear Mom,
You are so very missed by me and everyone you loved. You always protected me and Kim. In fact, sometimes we wouldn’t tell you if someone had hurt or disrespected us, since you would be sure to confront them. Growing up we had fun times in Riceville. You always had great birthday parties for us, you always took the time to make homemade Halloween costumes for us. Some of my best memories are when you would take us to R.I. to stay with family. I loved being with my cousins and would be very upset leaving there to go home to PA. We had wonderful Christmas memories together. You always painted Christmas scenes on our windows when we were little. When we were older we had fun times at the Lake. The memories go on and on and will never be forgotten, and you will never be forgotten. I WILL LOVE YOU ALWAYS.
    LOVE your daughter,
    Christine

  9. Dear Grandma,
Words can not express the Sorrow I feel with your passing. I hold onto the wonderful memories we had with you here. Especially coming down to the Lake as a child, spending time with family always laughing. Will forever remember you as a sassy woman never taking any crap from no one lol. Outspoken but in the best of ways. I will also cherish spending time with you, painting your nails and you telling me how proud you were of me with all my accomplishments with getting sober. I will never forgot the words you spoke and feeling so loved by you in that moment, that I could do no wrong in your eyes. I love and miss you very much but feel comfort knowing you are with God now in his Beautiful Kingdom. Love you forever Grandma.
    Love your granddaughter
    Hillary ♡

  10. Grandma,
I have so many found memories with you. From playing board games with you as a little girl to drinking a Busch Light with you as an adult during happy hour at the lake. How I love your firey spirit that would protect us and make us all laugh. I am proud to be the one with your green eyes and skin complexion. I loved watching you light up when you would see my baby girl. My family and I love and deeply miss you. We are comforted by the fact that you are whole again with your loved ones again in heaven.
    Love you Grandma 🩷
    Gretchen, Darren & Emma

  11. It was a great pleasure to have met Josephine through her daughter Christine! From the moment I first met her and her husband, George, I felt welcomed and accepted by this warm good nature down to earth “Angel”. My heart and thoughts are with Chrisine, George and the rest of the family, during this time ❤️ I count myself blesses to have met Josephine, in this life, knowing what a strong, kind, caring and fun soul, that she is!

  12. Rest in peace my friend. Some of my fondest memories at the Frog Pond involved being with you. You were so witty, funny, and smart. You will be missed immensely and will always hold a special place in my heart.
