Joseph P. Grossman Joseph P. Grossman, 65, of Elm Street, Rocky Grove, passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 19. Born May 10, 1945, in Franklin, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph Francis and Theda Grove Grossman. Joseph was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked as an industrial engineer for 20 years at Joy Manufacturing Company until his retirement in 1986. He married the former Jacqueline Oakes on April 25, 1985, and she survives. Joseph was an avid hunter and fisherman, hunting and fishing with his wife and son. He also was a classic car enthusiast. In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by his children, Holly Kruger of Dallas, Texas, Eric Manson and his wife, Lisa, of Dempseytown, and Shelly Manson of Franklin. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Kierney Manson, Gavin Leahy and Jocelyn Manson, of Franklin, and Trey Kruger of Dallas, Texas. A Funeral Service for Joseph will be held on Monday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel at Franklin Cemetery, with Rev. Tom Phillips, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Oil City, officiating. Interment will follow at the Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Venango County Humane Society - P.O. Box 1045, Oil City, PA 16301.
