Jeffery L. Hubert, Sr., 82, of Meadville, PA, will be remembered fondly by family and friends after he passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. Born on February 12, 1943, in Meadville to John T. Hubert and Virginia Madeline Compton Hubert, Jeff led a life filled with love, hard work, and a passion for the outdoors.
He married the love of his life, Beverly A. Feltenberger Hubert, on April 23, 1977, and even though she passed away on December 27, 2020, their memories together remain close to the hearts of those who knew them.
Jeff attended Randolph High School and dedicated much of his working life to Talon, but earlier on he found joy in running his own towing business, Hubert’s Towing. In his later years, he became quite handy, taking on plumbing, carpentry, and electrical projects.
A long-time member of the Epiphany of the Lord Parish at Saint Agatha Church, Jeff also found camaraderie among local groups including the VFW Post 2006, the Italian Civic Club, Eagles 429, and the American Legion Post 205 in Saegertown.
In his spare time, you could find Jeff tending to his garden, hunting, fishing, or enjoying a good sprint car race, demolition derby, or truck and tractor pull. He even had a stint racing stock cars when he was younger. More recently, he took pleasure in coloring and watching Westerns.
Jeff is survived by five loving children: Michele Baker (Mike) of Meadville, Jeffrey L. Hubert, Jr. (Chisa) of Meadville, Jason Hubert (Stacy) of North Carolina, Tammy Petruso (Jim) of Syracuse, New York, and J.R. Hubert of Saegertown, along with eleven grandchildren: Nicole, James, Jr., Taylor, Matt, Kevin, Jeremy, Jr., Cheyenne, Haiden, Krista, Daniel, and Joshua and several great-grandchildren. He leaves behind a sister, Karen Yokes of Erie, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, Edward and Johnny Hubert, and two sisters, Mary Ralston and Cynthia Grinnell.

Thanks for everything you’ve done for me, I’m gonna miss you and mother every day! Talking me through how to do things, all your exaggerated stories, gardening, building things, fishing, tickets etc. It’s gonna be a lot lonelier now!
