With deepest sympathies.
My sympathies to all the family. Janet was such a loving, caring person.
I was so sorry to hear about Janet. She always had a smile on. I know my mom, Sally Knoch, enjoyed working with her and I would always stop “in the back” to visit her. She always had a story to tell about her grandkids. I will miss her as I am sure the entire family will. At least her and Don are together now and I know she is still smiling. Love & Prayers- Sue Knoch Keller
To the family of Janet,
I met your mother when your father Don came to work for me at the Venango Museum. I was blessed by knowing your parents. Your mother was strong during your fathers illness and she will be missed by all who knew her. May God Bless you.

Janet, I was so heart broken loosing you. Picking up the news paper and seeing your picture was just too much. They forgot to call me. So you see it hit them even harder. What memories we have for 40 years.. Stopping at our home on the farm in Polk after being out at the Kish Hotel. Playing more music till morning light. Than cooking 2 to 3 lbs of beacon n 3 doz of eggs for all the gang who stayed to play with Don n Jim. I had my two boys in the trailer n everyone couldn’t believe they would get up for a while than go back to bed and sleep to the music. You had 3 kids, than along came Scotty. What a family we all had.
I think of you often n Don too. Jim n I hear a song and can hear Don picken. I ‘see older gals , young grandma’s I think of you n I with our kids. If our kids weren’t welcome at a jam session, we did not go. We loaded all the 8 of the kids went to Sea World and to parks. Never had a problem with any of them. Great kids now good mothers n fathers.
We joined our little church North Sandy United Presbyterian Church in the country and took all our kids to learn about God and his saving love. Don playing, singing n teaching in church was a rare gift. Bless him for his dedication.
Rest in Peace dear friend. I feel a lot stronger now to be able to talk to you. You n Don are in our hearts, every song we hear, and in our prayers. Till we met again
Love you,
Carolyn n Jim
