Janet A. Crawford

Janet A. Crawford, 79, of Guys Mills, passed away on December 9, 2024 at the Meadville Medical Center.

Born in Franklin on June 16, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Helen (Lawson) Tenney and was raised by her aunt, Mildred Jones.

On December 16, 1967 she married the love of her life, Clarence Eugene Crawford. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2018.

She enjoyed playing card, swimming, watching TV and flowers of all types. Janet was the treasurer of T.O.P.S. She loved being a homemaker and caring for her family which was extremely important to her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chester Crawford and his wife, Robin, of Andover, OH, Ron Crawford and his companion, Lisa, of Corsica, James Crawford and his wife, Lynn, of Linesville, Barbara Smith and her fiancee, Larry Buford, of Meadville, Tammy Cotherman and her husband, Dan, of Guys Mills, Brenda Crawford and her companion, David Beers, of Meadville and Laurie Brawley and her husband, Bill, of Meadville; and her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her mother and her husband, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Kimberly Crawford; her grandsons Donald Crawford and Norman Rossey, Jr., her granddaughter, Kim Crawford; and her siblings Ralph Tenney, Bob Tenney, Bill Green, Jerry Tenney, Luella Mong, and May Michaels.

Family will receive guests at the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral services for Janet will be held the same day at the funeral home at 4:00 pm with Rev. Sandra Butler officiating.

Janet will be laid to rest next to her husband at Franklin Cemetery.
