James P. Myers

James P. Myers, 71, of Meadville, passed away, March 23, 2018, at Meadville Medical Center. He was born on May 2, 1946, in Meadville, son of the late Paul and Margaret Sanford Myers. Jim enjoyed music, collecting records, basketball, baseball, eating at hoss’s, lifting weights and was an avid Cleveland Cavaliers, Indian’s and Browns fan. He worked for 52 years at Seco/Warwick. Survivors include his three sisters and several nieces and nephews living in England; four nieces in Meadville, Amy DeAngio and her husband John of Flagstaff, AZ; Becky Sterling of Meadville; Debbie Mullen of Meadville and Jodie Kinley Smith and her husband Dale of Indialantic, FL also many other nieces and great nieces and nephews who dearly loved him. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister Doris Kinley, brothers-in-law, Walt Kinley and Gene Trbovich; and a nephew, Gary Kinley. Friends and family are invited to call the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335 on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. for a memorial service, with Pastor Nate Alsdorf of Oasis Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd, Meadville, PA 16335.
