James F. Hall, 81, of Meadville, passed away, on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Wesbury United Methodist Community. He was born on March 27, 1934 in Meadville a son of Cecil and Gwendolyn Boyle Hall. On May 19, 1957 James married Jean Culver, she proceeded him in death on February 14, 2011. He was a graduate of Meadville High School, class of 1952. He retired from Conrail in 1994 as a foreman. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing his lawn, bird watching and making wine. He is survived by two daughters, Darlene Hall of Painesville, Ohio and Pam Billman and her husband Dan of Mars, Pennsylvania; a son, Thomas Hall and his wife Onalee of Meadville; grandchildren, Andrew Hall, Jamie Billman and Kaitlyn Hall; and a brother, Richard Hall and his wife Gloria or Branson, Missouri. James was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Jean; his parents; a sister, Carolyn Daniels; and three brothers, Cecil, George and Wayne Hall. Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Marshall Lillie, officiating. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Township, PA. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to made in James' honor to Hospice of Crawford County, 1034 Grove Street, Meadville, PA 16335 or Wesbury Foundation, 31 N.   1. Pam, sorry to read of your father’s passing, our deepest sympathy to you at this most difficult time.

  2. I did not have the opportunity to know Mr. Hall but I know he was a good man because I know his daughter Pam. He raised a loving and caring daughter. My sympathy to you all for you loss.
