James Earl Rosenberg James Earl Rosenberg, 68, of Cooperstown passed away Monday morning, November 22 at the Titusville Hospital. Born January 3, 1942, in Titusville, he was the son of the late Emmett and Hazel Mae Thomas Rosenberg, Sr. He married the former Kathryn Louise Herman on August 15, 1970. James was employed at Fisher & Young Lumber Yard as a lumber stacker. After he retired, he worked many hours on the family dairy farm. James was baptized in Oil Creek by Rev. Miller. Throughout his entire life, James was a hard-working man, who had a nice smile and enjoyed talking to everyone he met. He loved the times spent with his family and his dog, "Puppy". In addition to his wife, James is survived by his brothers, Emmett Rosenberg, Jr. of Saegertown, Tom Rosenberg and his wife, Cora, of Titusville, and William Rosenberg and his wife, Emma Jean, of Younsgsville; and his sisters, Shirley Cotterman and her husband, Frank, of Tidioute, Mary Lou Cyranowski and her husband, Bob, of Northeast, and Betty Rosenberg and Barbara Rosenberg of Saegertown. Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Friday, November 26 from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral Services for James will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph P. Martin, Jr., pastor of the Cooperstown United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Cooperstown Cemetery.
