James Daniel Brennan, Jr. age 69, of Franklin, died Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Sugarcreek Care Center.

A son of James D. and Kathleen McCord Brennan, he was born September 22, 1955 in Bristol, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

On April 28, 1978 he married the former Alice Baxter, who survives.

Mr. Brennan had been employed by Matric Limited for many years. He had also worked for US Steel, Stales Manufacturing, General Doors and Polk Center prior to retirement.

James was witty, sarcastic and enjoyed practical jokes. He also liked fishing and did taxidermy at one time.

Surviving is his wife, Alice Brennan of Franklin; a daughter, Michelle Covert and husband Benjamin of Titusville; two sisters,, Mary Ann Drago and husband Marty of Maryland; Kathleen Henry and husband Lester of Knox; and a “grand-puppy” Ellie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Elwood and John Brennan; and a sister, Patricia Dick.

Services for Mr. Brennan are private and are being handled by the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA.
