Henry "Hank" Archacki, 83, of Saegertown, passed away, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Marquette Hospice House. He was born June 15, 1929 a son of Carl Archacki and Mary Lewkowicz Archacki. He married Helen Plementosh on June 20, 1953, she survives. He was a 1949 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School. Hank worked for Westinghouse and retired as a foreman from Seco-Warwick. He was a member of Saint Bernadette Catholic Church and Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge 429. Hank excelled in high school baseball, basketball, football, and in his later years bowling and was in many leagues. In 1997 he was inducted into Western Crawford County Bowling Hall of Fame. He coached French Creek Valley Little League and loved hunting, golf, and carpentry. In addition to his loving wife, Helen, he is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Stone and her husband Dave of Meadville; two sons, Dennis Henry Archacki and his wife April of Saegertown and Thomas Lee Archacki and his wife Ann of Saegertown; a grandchild, Nickolas; a sister, Stella Mickoljewski of Erie; a brother, Edward Archacki of Erie; a several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and two brothers. Family and friends are welcome to call on Thursday, April 4th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. Meadville Area 429 Fraternal Order of the Eagles final tribute to deceased brother will be held at the funeral home at 5:45pm and a Prayer Vigil Service at 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 5th at 10:00am at Saint Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 222 Renner Alley, Saegertown, with Father David Poulson as celebrant. Burial will follow in Saint Agatha Cemetery, West Mead Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Hank's memory to The Junior Bowlers Association, C/O Plaza Lanes, 18799 Smock Hwy, Meadville, PA 16335 or Hayfield V.F.D., 15417 State Hwy 198, Meadville, PA 16335 or Saint Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 222 Renner Alley, Saegertown, PA 16433.   7. We were very sad to hear of Henry’s passing and our heartfelt condolences go out to you. Henry was such a joy! He always seemed to be happy and smiling and we so enjoyed his company. Noone could hug like Henry! He was a man who loved his family above all else and knew that love was returned. We will truly miss this wonderful man.

Hank was always there for me at work and after retirement I truly enjoyed the visited had with him whenever we would meet. I am sure Hank is now in the arms of our GOD and may he be at peace.     I have personally known Mr. Archacki since I can remember. I went to high school and graduated with his daughter, Cindy. I remember him as being a kind and simple man. I remember him in church always being friendly to everyone. He and my dad, Victor Mercier new each other very well. My prayers are with your family.
