SAEGERTOWN " Harry W. Taylor, 87, of 16734 Park Ave. Ext., Saegertown, died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown. He was born in Lowellville, Ohio, Dec., 21, 1922, a son of Fred C. and Myrtle Mae Shoppe Taylor. He married Virginia Penwell; she preceded him in death in March 1966. He then married Myrtle Heath on Aug. 31, 1967; she preceded him in death Dec. 25, 2006. He had been employed by C.D. Ambrosia Trucking for 31 years. He loved being a truck driver, talking on his CB radio, and riding his tractor and mowing the lawn. Survivors include a sister, Helen Miller of Struthers, Ohio; sons, Gary Taylor and his wife, Mary, of Hillsville, Harry D. Taylor of Hillsville, Richard Taylor and his wife, Donna, of New Castle, Robert Taylor and his wife, Chrissy, of Meadville, Robert E. Taylor of Hillsville, and Ronald Taylor of Austintown, Ohio; a stepson, Ernie Lewis and his wife, Tina, of Valparaiso, Ind.; daughters, Janice Hudson and her husband, Paul, of Saegertown, Diane Barto and her husband, Rick, of Columbiana, Ohio, and Joann Smith and her husband, Larry, of New Bedford; a son, Richard Sebest; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred C. Taylor; his mother, Myrtle (Shoppe) Taylor; his first wife, Virginia Penwell; his second wife, Myrtle (Heath) Taylor; a son, Gerald Taylor; a daughter, Sue Donofrio; four sisters, Ethel Mae Fitzpatrick, Annie Barnhart, Luella Kellish and Elle Stouffer; and two brothers, Arthur and Jack Taylor. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. The funeral and committal service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Brumagin officiating. Burial will be in Troy Center Cemetery
