GUYS MILLS - Harold W. Delp Jr., 73, of 13982 Castile Road, Guys Mills, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Meadville Medical Center.He was born on June 28, 1935, at Brookville, a son of the late Harold W. and Mary Knapp Delp. He was married to Carol A. Waite, who preceded him in death on Dec. 23, 1976. He then married Zenobia Lindstrom, who preceded him in death on April 27, 1990. He subsequently married Candice M. Sargent on Dec. 31, 1992. She survives.He was a lifetime logger and had worked with his business, Delp and Son Logging.He loved his Boston Bull Terriers and his pigs.He is survived by his wife, Candice M. Delp of Guys Mills; seven daughters, Laurie Brawley and her husband, Bill, of Meadville, Judy Baron and her companion, Eddie, of Meadville, Margaret Saxton of Meadville, Zenobia Hazelhurst and her husband, Craig, of Meadville, Nicola Delp and her companion, John Karns, of Townville, Cindy Williams of Cambridge Springs, and Tina Grinnell and her husband, Jerry, of Venango; five sons, Matthew Lindstrom of Meadville, Conrad Delp and his wife, Wanda, of Guys Mills, Douglas Delp and his wife, Sherri, of Clintonville, Keith Delp of Guys Mills and Sam Delp of Meadville; four brothers, John Delp and his wife, Nancy, of Titusville, Thomas Delp of Union City, David Delp of Titusville, and Michael Delp of Florida; and five sisters, Maxine Struchen of Titusville, Darlene Fike of Oil City, Susan Edmiston of Pleasantville, Kathy Fike and her husband, Jerry, of Oil City, and Anetta McCurry and her husband, Dave, of Oil City. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, his first wife, Carol A. Waite Delp, and his second wife, Zenobia Lindstrom Delp, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Delp and Cheryl Messersmith; a son, Harold L. Delp; and four brothers, Albert Delp, Leroy Delp, Charles Delp and James Delp.Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday at Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home, Main Street, Townville, a branch of Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc.The funeral and committal service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev.
