Harold L. Lawson, III, 69, of 948 Colbert Avenue, Oil City went home to be with his wife on Saturday, January 04, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Oil City. Born June 24, 1944 in Van, PA, Harold was the son of the late Harold L. and Adelia (Rhadibaugh) Lawson, II . He was married to the former Amy L. Wilkinson for 52 years. Mr. Lawson was employed as a laborer for Electralloy. He enjoyed watching Monday Night Raw and Pawn Stars. Harold is survived by his children, Harold L. Lawson, IV of Oil City, Richard D. Lawson and his companion, Cindy McElroy of Oil City, Kenneth Lawson and his companion, Dolly Vitka of Oil City, and Larry Lawson and his wife, Jodi of Franklin, Deborah Watson of Oil City, and Diana VanSlyke and her husband, Howard of Oil City; his brother, Jim Lawson and his wife, Diane of Seneca; and his sisters, Peg Frankenberger and her husband, Denny of Seneca, Nancy Heim and her husband, Larry of Cranberry, Joyce Rodebaugh of Franklin, Sandy Lawson of Florida, and Sis Parry and her husband, Donald of Colorado. He is additionally survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by his friend, Kenny Taylor. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Amy in 2011. Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on, Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 10 am - 12 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, following visitation on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 12:00 pm with the Rev. David Smith of the Franklin Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
