Harold C. (Lum) Spencer, 82, of Garden Lane, Franklin, passed away the morning of Sunday, December 16, 2012, into the waiting arms of his mother and father in Heaven, at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca. Born June 05, 1930 in Titusville, PA, Harold was the son of the late Rev. A.C. and Margaret E. (Simpson) Spencer. He was married to Twila Huff on February 16, 1957, and she survives. Mr. Spencer was a Korean War Era Veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Harold was employed locally as a Truck Driver for Daniels Transfer Co. for 34 years. Following his retirement, he worked with his son delivering mail for the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed gardening and growing plants. In addition to his wife, Twila, Harold is survived by his son Randy Jay Spencer of Franklin; his daughter, Terri Lambert and her husband, Robert of Fertigs; sister, Helen Sharp of Franklin; and two grandchildren, Mark William Lambert of Fertigs and Lindsey Renee Lambert of Oil City. He was preceded in death by his parents. Harold will be deeply missed by all of his immediate family, his extended family and friends, and his dog, Queen. The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at UPMC Northwest for the wonderful care. Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Tuesday, December 18, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Daniel Myers of the St. Petersburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the V.E.T.S. Honor Guard. Interment will take place in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Visiting Nurses Foundation, 491 Allegheny Blvd., Franklin, PA 16323 and/or the Venango County Humane Society, P.O.
