Gregory Lee Curtis, 52, of Union City, passed away, Tuesday, March 5, 2024 unexpectedly at Titusville Area Hospital. He was born on August 18, 1971 in Union City, a son of Larry Lee Curtis and Charlotte Sue Maine Curtis. He married Luella L. Kent on February 15, 1992.
He was a 1990 graduate of Union City High School. He was a self-employed carpenter owning and operating Oil Creek Construction, he also worked with his father as a beekeeper. They moved bees from this area to Florida in the winter and brought them back to the area in April to pollinate spring crops.
Gregory was a member of Lyona Bible Church, Spartansburg Sportsman's Club, and PBS. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying archery, hunting, fishing, and camping.
In addition to his loving wife, Luella L. Curtis of Union City; he is survived by his father, Larry L. Curtis of Union City; two daughters, Emily M. Skaines and her husband Stephen of Edinboro and Karley S. Curtis of Union City; two sons, Travis L. Curtis and his wife Jessica of Clymer, NY and Conner W. Curtis of Union City; five grandchildren, Kalvin and Liam Skaines, and Charlotte, Elizabeth, and Vernamae Curtis; and a brother, Crispin L. Curtis of Corry.
He was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Rhonda S. Curtis; paternal grandparents, Carlton and Irene Curtis; and maternal grandparents, Alpha "Pete" and Grace Maine.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday, March 9th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Lyona Bible Church, 28825 Lyona Road, Guys Mills. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Michael Fraser, officiating.
Burial will take place in Lowville Cemetery.

After Greg had the accident with cleaning a gun and the pole went through his hand he kept on working his job even tho his hand wasn’t working good ,that kind of inspiration keeps me working as well even tho I am in pain every day with multiple arthritis points

Greg was a loyal follower of the Woodsman Competition at the Sparty fair and was always there watching me throw axes. In between we talked a bunch of archery. Will miss him.
I have to say I seen Greg turned into this strong man that would help anyone and was the strength and support as a husband Father Comma Sun comma brother comma and yes peep Period We remember the stories Be told about Fishing And the 2 b’s Bears and bees as we know when the years go by the stories got longer so did the fish and at Camp if you are going on a four-wheeler ride be sure to have your walking shoes on for sure going to get stuck in the mud.
