Gertrude Y. Eastman

MEADVILLE - Gertrude Y. Eastman, 86, of Meadville, passed away, Sunday, September 28, 2014. She was born on November 8, 1927, in Kerrtown, PA, a daughter of the late Amos and Olive Wybenga. She married Edward Donald Eastman on November 8, 1955. He proceeded her in death in 1968, She was employed at Saegertown Components, Westinghouse in Meadville and GTI in Saegertown. Survivors include, her son Timothy Eastman of Woodland Hills, CA; three daughters, Mary Jane Peters and her husband Jim of Syracuse, NY; Karen Winder and her husband Rick of Meadville; and Christine Littel and her husband William of Hilton Head Island; Grandchildren, Melanie Keas and her husband Ben; Steven Hill; Jacob Eastman; Natalie Eastman and step grandson, Marc Winder; four great grandchildren, Amber Boswell, Sydney Boswell; Genevieve "Genna" Hill and Alexandra Hill; also five step great grand children, Triston Keas; Kerrington Keas; Brett Winder; Hope Winder; and Brady Winder. Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, is in care of the funeral arrangements. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
