Genevieve S Weaver

Genevieve S. Weaver, 101, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, April 29th at 11:45 a.m. at the Golden Living Center in Oil City.Born June 26, 1914 in Franklin, Genevieve was the daughter of the late Frank B. and Adah Heffernan Sutley. She was a 1932 graduate of Rocky Grove High School. On March 18, 1935, she married Orwelle (Jack) K. Weaver, who preceded her in death on December 21, 1996.Genevieve was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and in her spare time, she enjoyed baking, quilting, sewing, and knitting. She cherished the moments spent with family.Genevieve is survived by her sister: Mrs. Wanda Anderson; and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Wilma Sutley, both of Franklin. She is additionally survived by several nieces and nephews.Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters: Mrs. Gerald (Dora) Banister, Beverly C. Sutley, and Mrs. Harold (Freda) Weaver, Mrs. Marguerite Mott, and Mrs. Martha Wice; and her brother: James B. Sutley.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 350 Front Street, Franklin, PA 16323.Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street in Franklin, on Monday, May 2nd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 520 Front Street in Franklin, on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev.
