MEADVILLE - Genevieve Frances Perry, 84, of Meadville, passed away, Friday, October 17, 2014. She was born on April 29, 1930, in Charleroi, PA, a daughter of the late Florian Brodict and Catherin Vezetti. She married Marvin K. Perry. He proceeded her in death on May 11, 1999.
She was a graduate of Charleroi High School and McKeesport School of Nursing.
Genevieve was employed as a Registered Nurse for a few local Doctors, Wesbury United Methodist Community, and Spencer Hospital.
She was a member of Saint Brigid Roman Catholic Church.
Genevieve was survived by her niece Catherine Wagner and her husband Gary of Meadville; great nieces Melissa DePaulo and her husband Michael; Stephanie Wagner, Jennifer Wagner and Lizabeth Wagner; also great great nieces and nephews Sean, Keyana and Melanna Wagner, and Juliana and Philip DePaulo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch Street, Meadville, PA 16335, with Father Jonathan Schmolt as celebrant.
Entombment will take place at St. Brigid Cemetery.

Genevieve was a wonderful nurse. I worked with her for several years at Wesbury. She was kind and compassionate. Genevieve was a professional. She applied her knowledge to her work and was willing to teach what she knew to less experienced personel. Nice lady that I felt sad at her passing.
