Fred D. Wise, 84, of Centerville, passed away, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Rolling Fields Elder Care Community. He was born on April 10, 1933 in Union City, Pennsylvania a son of Dallas Wise and Irene Williamson Wise. He married Shirley J. Geer on October 25, 1959. Fred was a graduate of Bloomfield High School following graduation he served his country as a Corporal with the US Marines from 1952-1955. He was stationed in Korea for 8 months where he was a sharpshooter. He was employed with Cyclops Steel in Titusville and later he was employed with PPG from where he retired. Fred was a member of Taylor Stand Bible church where he served as a deacon and was in charge of the construction of the church social hall. He enjoyed trapshooting, hunting, going on walks, building houses and buildings, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Fred is survived by his loving wife, Shirley of Centerville; a son, Chad Wise and his wife Diana of Centerville; a son in law, Troy Ehrhart of Centerville; four grandchildren, Kayla Deeter and her husband Nick of Centerville; Cody Wise and his wife Rose of Atlantic, Jesse Ehrhart and his wife Carrie of Centerville, and Jeremy Ehrhart and his companion Andrea of Centerville; a great granddaughter, Lyla Ehrhart; two sisters, Donna Davison and her husband Bob of Guys Mills and Lois Moore and her husband Ed of Erie; and two brothers, Donald Wise and his wife Jean of Virginia and Lyle Wise and his wife Madalyn of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Michelle Ehrhart; a grandson, Josh Ehrhart; two sisters, Carol Cornell and Sandra Sibble; a brother, Alan Wise, and a sister in law, Becky Wise. Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday, March 21st from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00 pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home, 33353 N. Main Street, Townville. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22nd at 2:00pm at Taylor Stand Bible Church, 20570 Taylor Stand Road, Centerville, with Pastor Raymond Fate, officiating. Burial will follow at Rootville Cemetery.   1. In my earlier days of youth I had a trap line with my brother Tim, catching mushrats and raccoons, skinning the hides and drying, and taking them up to Fred,s place every Febuaray to sell.
