Florence M. Ross, 92, formerly of Belmar Road ,Franklin died at 11:00 AM , on March 14, 2013 at Oakwood Heights, Oil City. Born January 11, 1921 in Franklin, PA, Florence was the daughter of the late Ephriam and Nellie Ann (Doerr) Lehman. On May 18, 1941, she married Harry L. Ross, who preceded her in death on April 3, 2011 . Florence was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Ross enjoyed crocheting, baking, sewing, quilting, word searches, puzzles, and gardening. Florence is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Dillion of Oil City, Linda Shannon and her husband, Gary, of Oil City, and Debra Clem and her husband, Michael, of Sulphur Springs, TX; her sons, Robert Ross and his wife, Shirley, of Melbourne, AR, Ronald Ross and his wife, Mary Kay, of Point, TX, James Ross of Las Vegas, NV, and Randy Ross of Dallas, TX. She is additionally survived by her brothers, Roy Lehman and his wife, Maxine, and Paul Lehman both of Franklin; her sisters, Dorothy Sopher of Franklin, Gladys Hites of Rouseville, Mildred Cozad and her husband, Albert, of Franklin, Kathleen Harrington and her husband, David, of Franklin, Alice Newfield of CA, and Lucy Ratzcliff and her husband, Roy, of Bakersfield, CA; her 15 grandchildren; her 26 great-grandchildren; and her 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Ross; her brothers, Glenn and David Lehman; her sister, Ethel Orlando; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the funeral home , with Rev. Thomas Phillips pastor of the Bethel United Methodist Church, Oil City, officiating. Interment will be in Graham Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Oakwood Heights, 10 Vo Tech Drive, Oil City, PA 16301.
