Evyonne Marie Confer Evyonne Marie Confer, 42, of Grant Street, Franklin, died at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 10, 1969 in Franklin, she was the daughter of Donald Sylvester and Gayle M. Beyerl Smith. Evyonne worked for many years at Safelite Auto Glass and also for the Blair Call Center. She enjoyed reading, flower arranging and spending time with her granddaughter. She is survived by her mother, Gayle M. Smith of Pompano Beach, FL; her son Cody D. Confer, and his fiance', Ashley Butryn, of Franklin; her granddaughter, Sydney Evyonne Confer; her special friend, Brian Coxson; her three brothers, Alan G Smith of Chicago, Illinois, Nicholas C. Smith of Coral Springs, FL, Blaise D. Smith and his wife, Nancy of Franklin; two sisters, Cheri M. Mong and her husband, Daniel ("Deac") of Franklin, and Bernadette G. French and her husband, Kevin of Norwich, Ohio. Evyonne was preceded in death by her father, Donald S. Smith. A memorial service for Evyonne will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin. Rev. Ken Hall of the Cooperstown Presbyterian Church will be officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to Visiting Nurses Foundation, 491 Allegheny Blvd., Franklin, PA 16323.
