Eugene O. Loomis

Eugene O. Loomis, Jr., 72, of Conneautville, passed away on June 19, 2024 at the Meadville Medical Center. Born on October 7, 1951 in Conneaut, Ohio, he was the son of the late Eugene and Sarah (Coy) Loomis. Gene proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War era. He was married to Anna M. Donovan and she preceded him in death in 2013. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Eugene Loomis, III, Kimberly Garlick and her husband, Scott, Kathy Marie Shultz and her husband, Matt, and Patricia Tipton; his grandchildren, Kelly, Jonathan, Hope, Amber, Zach, Anthony, Jacob, Cheyenne, Dakota, Cynthia, and Anthony; and his great-grandchildren Madison, Christopher, Avery, Ronan, Kolton, and James. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Loomis. A Celebration of Gene's Life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the New Apostolic Church, 5802 Cemetery Road, Kingsville, OH with Pastor Roger Stancliff officiating.
