Dorothy Jane McGinnis Campbell, 94, of 1333 Chestnut St., Franklin, died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009, at her residence. Born Jan. 24, 1915 in Oakdale, Allegheny County, she was the daughter of Joseph D. McGinnis and Estella S. Plance McGinnis. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and once worked at Isaly's Restaurant in Cochranton. She was a member of the Rock of the Living Waters Church and the Wynmore Club. Her greatest desire was to see Jesus. Her last words were "Praise Jesus." She sang "The Old Rugged Cross" last day she was able to talk. She married Aug. 1, 1935 to Glenn B. Campbell, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Joseph B. Campbell and his fiancee Dana Lee, of Carlton; and two daughters, Elizabeth M. Wischmann of Oakdale and Susan J. Ring and her husband, the Rev. James D. of Franklin. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Larry Wischmann and wife, Katy, of Imperial, Marie Symosko and husband, Kirk of Clinton, Linda VanSickle and husband, Charles of Oakdale, Andrew Wischmann and wife, Stephanie of Oakdale, Eric Ring of Franklin, Jamie Ring of Franklin, Shawna Wright of Stoneboro, Roxanne Campbell of Meadville and Ben Campbell of Sandy Lake. Survivors also include 17 great-grandchildren, L.J., James, Stacy, Logan, Kayla and Austin Wischmann, Krista and Sheri Symosko, Heather and Charles VanSickle, Marci and Sydney Ring, Paul IV and Brendan Wright, Aydan Temple, and Nathan and Zack Blystone; one great-great-granddaughter, Alexis Wischmann; and a sister Mary Devos of McDonald. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers; four sisters; a son-in-law, Joseph Wischmann; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Campbell; and two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Taylor Ring. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, with the Rev. James D. Ring of the Rock of the Living Waters Church presiding. Interment will be in Mumford Cemetery.   1. You all were blessed for having such a loving mother/grandmother/ great-grandmother. She will be missed. She always greeted me and my family with love and affection when she was with Mrs. Wischmann in Oakdale. Marie and Kirk and girls our prayers are with you today, as they are always. She was a special lady.
