Dorothy Eleanor Young, 86, of 103 North 13th St., Franklin, formerly of 1220 Chestnut St., Franklin and Chula Vista, Calif., died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the Caring Place in Franklin. Born June 3, 1921, in Rockland, she was the daughter of John S. Hart and Martha Catherine Beach. Mrs. Young was employed at Kmart. She was a member of Chapel on the Hill Assembly of God Church. She was married to Charles Young, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Janice Munoz and her husband, Phillip, of Cranberry and Margaret Robnett and her husband, Richard, of Ft. Mojave, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, John Morrell and his wife, Cathi, of Rocky Grove, Phillip Munoz Jr. of Oil City, Donna Cabarel and her husband, Jose, of El Cajon, Calif., Brian Munoz and his wife, Jenna, of Oil City, Randy Munoz of Oil City, Lisa Loeber of Oil City, Cathy Johnston and her husband, Mike, of Venus and Jennifer Morrell of San Diego, Calif. Also surviving are three sisters, Mary Smouse of Franklin, Jean Mahle and her husband, Albert, of Venus and Sara Stephens of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Raymond Hart of Franklin; and two foster children, Karen Maynard of Jamul, Calif. and Susan Smith, of Kentucky. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Hart and Dave Hart; six sisters, Maude Hart, Grace Repmam, Genieve Hetzler, Iva Norris, Florence Androsky and Lois Hart; and one granddaughter-in-law, Jamie Munoz. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home in Franklin with the Rev. Dustin Kipe of Chapel on the Hill Assembly of God Church officiating.
