Doris A. Sharer

Doris A. Sharer, a beloved member of the Corry Alliance Church, passed away peacefully at Corry Manor on November 22, 2024. She was born on June 7, 1951, in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of John William and Eulala Thomas Sharer and was a loving homemaker who cherished crocheting, puzzles, and caring for her beloved dogs, horses, and cats.

Doris will forever be remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by her former spouse, Michael Trebik, Sr., with whom she shared two children, Pam Trebik of Belmont, New York, and Michael E. Trebik of Union City. She is also survived by her grandson, Logan James Michael Trebik of Union City; her sister, Mildred Whetstone of Ohio; her brother, David Sharer of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters – Marilyn Sharer, Jackie Burkey, and Betty J. Burkey – and three brothers – John Sharer, Carl James Burkey, and Bill Burkey.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Doris’s life will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, let us fondly remember the joy she brought to those around her and the warmth of her presence. May she rest in eternal peace.
