Donna Mae Sterling
July 16, 1941 ~ June 10, 2024
Donna Mae Sterling, age 82 of Centerville, passed away from a broken heart on June 10, 2024 at home with her family by her side.
Donna was born in Titusville on July 16, 1941 to the late Arthur and Josephine (Mars) Prenatt.
She married Ramon Leo Sterling on December 1, 1962 and he recently passed away on June 6, 2024.
She was the office administrator and worked alongside her husband on their business at Sterling Sanitation since 1965.
She enjoyed canning, eating at Pizza Hut, and special trips to Schwebels for snacks. She liked fishing with the family and supporting the children and grandchildren at their ball games. During the summer, she liked to watch the hummingbirds at the feeders and her freezer was always full of whatever Schwan's had to offer.
Donna is survived by her two sons, Roger Sterling and his wife, Anita Sterling, of Chapmanville and David Sterling and his wife, Pamela Davison of Guys Mills; four grandchildren, Katie Nobles (Bill), Steve Sterling (Lindsey), Ryan Sterling, and Breanna Sterling (Cage); and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Pollock and her brother William Prenatt and his wife, Ann.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Frank Pollock.
There will be no funeral or calling hours per her wishes.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Donna's name to the charity of one's choice.
