CENTERVILLE " Donna LaRoche, 61, of 38190 Five Corners Road, Centerville, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Meadville Medical center.
Born in Ravenna, Ohio, on Sept. 20, 1948, she was a daughter of Walter and Mary Clayborn Givens. She married Ronald LaRoche on Friday, May 19, 1967.
She was a nurse’s aide with Springs Manor, Cambridge Springs.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking and gardening, and loved spending time with family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She was affiliated with Tryonville United Methodist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 43 years, include a daughter, Sonya LaRoche Pfaff of Meadville; a son, Sam LaRoche and his wife, Jennifer, of Union City; two grandchildren, Sam LaRoche Jr. and John LaRoche; a sister, Linda Olszak and her husband, Kenny, of Ravenna, Ohio; a brother, Arvin Givens and his wife, Nancy, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home, 33353 N. Main St., Townville.
The memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Frank Weingard of Tryonville United Methodist Church officiating.
