Diana L. Johnson

Diana L. Johnson, 65, of Buffalo Street, Franklin, passed away at 12:00 p.m., on Monday , March 14, peacefully surrounded by her much loved family and friends, after dealing with a long-term illness. Born May 13, 1945, in Oil City, Diana was the daughter of the late William L. and Alice R. Vogan Terrill. Mrs. Johnson attended Oil City School. She married her best friend, Glenn Johnson, on August 20, 1965, and he preceded her in death. She attended the Franklin Church of the Nazarene, and was a loyal member there for many years. Diana especially enjoyed spending time with her close-knit family. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her four children, James Johnson and his wife, Kim, Ted Johnson and his wife, Gretchen, Peggy Hale and her husband, Bill, and Brian Johnson and his wife, Missy. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren, Andy Hale, Shawn Hale, Ashley Hale, Briana Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, Paula Fitzgerald, Tabetha Sterling, and Matthew Sterling, all of Franklin, Brandon Johnson of Rocky Grove, Cody Spence, Sara Watson, Dan Watson, all of Oil City, and Bryce Sikosk of Florida. She is additionally survived by her eight great-grandchildren, Lucas Hale, Dana Fitzgerald, Aron Fitzgerald, Michaela Savada, Mikenzie Savada, all of Franklin, and Jaimie Thomas, Chloe Thomas, and Raven Watson, all of Oil City. She is also survived by her three sisters, Patricia Serafin and her husband Max, of Oil City, and Kathy Judy and her husband, Paul, and Karen Terrill, all of Altoona; and her brother, William Vogan and his wife, Linda, of Oil City. Diana is also survived by her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Terrill, Nancy and Paul Tidd, Garnet and Fred King, and Ellen and John Dalmaso; and her very special friend, Shirl Johnson, all of whom she was very close to. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her brother, James E. Terrill; her brother-in-law and his wife, Floyd and Beverly Johnson; and her great-niece, Sierra King. Family and friends of Mrs. Johnson will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Thursday, March 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services for Diana will be held on Friday, March 18, at 11 a.m. at the Franklin Church of the Nazarene, with Rev.
