Dennis William Doty

Dennis W. Doty, 73, of Linesville, passed away, Saturday, June 8, 2024 unexpectedly at his residence. He was born on November 21, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois a son of Pat Struchen and Olga Covich Struchen. He was married to Carrie Frame Doty.
He was a high school graduate and was employed as a shipping manager at several different companies over the years. Dennis also served his country with the U.S. Navy.
Dennis attended Linesville United Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering at many different area organizations. He enjoyed collecting collectables, bowling, and being involved with the Meadville Council of the Arts.
He is survived by two daughters, Colleen Howell and her husband, Jason, of Meadville and Jenna Humes and her husband, Keith, of Springboro; a son, Tyler Doty of Meadville; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Carrie.

Dad, you had all the information we needed for everything, from the smallest to the largest areas in our lives. But one thing you never told me was how to deal with you not being there when I really needed you. You didn’t give me any ideas how to grieve the loss of you. I forgive every way you ever hurt me. However my heart still aches. I hope now that you are with Mom you can love her the way she always deserved.
