Danny R. Beard

Danny R. Beard, Sr., 57, of Corry, passed away, Friday, February 19, 2021 at Corry Memorial Hospital. He was born August 5, 1963 in Dunkirk, New York, a son of Jack E. Beard and Dissie Northern French Beard. He was a 1982 graduate of Fort LeBouef High School and served his country in the United States National Guard. He was a member of the Sparta Sportsman Club. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing and kayaking. He is survived by his parents, Art & Sarah Entley of Erie; a son, Danny R. Beard, Jr. of Corry; two sisters, Rose Daley and her husband, Raymond of Waterford, and Alice Ploss of Centerville; and two brothers, Jack Beard and his wife, Tina of Corry, and John Beard and his wife, Pauline of Spartansburg. Danny is preceded in death by his parents, foster mother, Karen Entley; a sister, Edna Dobson and her husband William Dobson.
