Daniel Joseph Trebik, 70, of Union City passed away on October 3, 2023 at the Corry Manor. Born on December 16, 1952 in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Pressler) Trebik. He was a graduate of Union City High School. On June 20, 1987, he married the love of his life the former Ellen Mitchell, she survives. Danny was known for always building things, from sheds to pavilions and helping anyone with anything if he could. He enjoyed splitting and stacking wood but most of all, he enjoyed his family and they were very important to him. He was a historian and trustee with the Parade Street United Methodist Church where he also helped install the elevator and did repairs or whatever would make the church better. Left to cherish his memory along with his wife is his daughter, Danielle Evans and her husband, Chris; his sisters Monica Stowe and her husband, Bob, Mandy Daly and her husband, Robert, Patti Pipkin and her husband, Ron, and Debra Lane; his brother James Trebik and his wife, Jaime; his grandsons Wyatt and Owen Evans; his aunt Shirley Hosmer, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to the Parade Street United Methodist Church, 7 Parade Street, Union City on October 15, 2023 from 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm. A Celebration of Danny's life will start the same day at 3:00 pm at the church with Pastor Hae Seon Lee officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Danny's name to the Parade Street United Methodist Church, 7 Parade Street, Union City, PA 16438.   1. I’m extremely sorry about Dan passing. Living next door when younger, we had lots of fun. He was a great guy. I’m sorry I can’t be there, but my memories can never be forgotten. I was never perfect, but Dan was and I remember the thanks he gave me in school, do to graduation and meetings, cause he asked for my help and I did. God Bless him!! Tony Luba
