Constance L. Deitman

Constance "Connie" L. Deitman, 77, of Meadville, passed away, Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Country Acres Personal Care Home. She was born on March 24, 1947 in Findlay, Ohio a daughter of Darryl D. Dyer and Martha Semler Dyer. Connie was a high school graduate and she went on to further her education. She was later employed as a paralegal. She was a member of Meadville First Presbyterian Church and she enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, but most of all she loved being a mother and a grandmother. Connie is survived by her three children, Joseph Deitman of Cambridge Springs, Melody Schoonover of Titusville, and Darren Deitman of Meadville; her grandchildren, Christine, Tressa, and Dylan; and two brothers, Robert Dyer of Beaver Dam, Arizona and Gary Dyer of Garden Grove, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; and the father of her children, Garland "Smokey" Deitman. Private Service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Township.
