Clarence "Larry" L. Lawson Clarence "Larry" L. Lawson, 81, of 323 Causeway Drive, Franklin, passed away at 5:53 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born February 12, 1931 in Franklin, Clarence was the son of the late Harold L. and Harriett A. Powell Lawson. He was married to Dora Jean Seetree and she preceded him in death in May 1999. Mr. Lawson was employed by General Motors for 31 years prior to his retirement in 1993. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed playing poker and bingo. Mr. Lawson is survived by his son, Clarence L. Lawson, Jr. and his wife, Traci, of Seneca; his daughter, Laura Conley of Franklin; his two brothers, Robert Q. Lawson and his wife, Marlene, of Franklin, and Harry G. Lawson and his wife, Diane, of Titusville; and five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Clarence was preceded in death by his three brothers, Harold, James and Hugh Lawson; his two sisters, Shirley Ann Miller and Ruth Colwell; and his son-in-law, Henry Conley Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 25 at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 26 at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Barry Markle, pastor of the Cooperstown Community Church of God, officiating. Interment will be made in the Franklin Cemetery.
