Clair Ethridge

Clair Ethridge passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on October 17, 1929 in Erie, PA and was the son of the late Clair and Ruth Ethridge.

Clair was employed with General Electric as a machinist his entire working career until his retirement in 1992. Upon retirement, Clair relocated to Florida with his wife of 46 years, Nina. There they enjoyed retired life and sunshine for 28 years before relocating back to the area.

Clair enjoyed doing work around his house, traveling, doing work in his yard, and taking walks.

Clair was preceded in death by his first wife of 28 years; Della, his second wife of 47 years; Nina, two sons; Marvin and Ken Ethridge, and two brothers, Robert and Dennis Ethridge.

Clair is survived by two children; Ruth Webb of Benson, NC and Ron Ethridge of Union City, PA. Clair took great pride in his family and loved to brag about them to everyone he met. He was also proud of his 5 grandchildren Kim (Carl) McCartney, Mike (Tanisha) Webb, Shawn (Tara) Ethridge, Amy (Dan) Keefer, and Ashley Ethridge; 9 great grandchildren Darren, Chris, Barbara, Emaliegh, Ethan, Ella, Lexi, Ali, and Kenlee and 1 great great grandchild; Maddy.

Friends and family are invited to viewing hours on Friday, March 7th from 12:00p.m. – 2:00p.m. at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City.  There will be a brief graveside service to follow at Waterford Cemetery.
