Charlotte M. Mailliard, 79, of Cochranton, Pennsylvania, who left us peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the Embassy of Park Avenue. Born on February 6, 1945, in Buffalo, New York, Charlotte was the beloved daughter of Charles E. Anderson and Caroline Ada Spicer Anderson.
She married the love of her life, Purl Thomas Mailliard, on July 1, 1964, and shared a beautiful life together until his passing on October 8, 2022. Charlotte was an exceptional self-employed bookkeeper at Mailliard Garage, where she dedicated many years of her life. Following her retirement from the garage, she utilized her skills at the Crawford County Courthouse.
Charlotte was a cherished member of the Mount Hope United Methodist Church and the Undercover Gals quilting group in Cochranton. Her artistic spirit shone brightly in her love for nature, where she found joy in collecting rocks and minerals to create beautiful jewelry. Charlotte’s creativity was matched only by her deep love for her family. She adored her son, Robert A. Foulk of Cochranton, as well as her grandchildren, Blake Foulk, Rebecca Peterson, and Kimberly Foulk. She was also blessed with several great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.
Charlotte is survived by her loving son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and brother, Robert Anderson, also of Cochranton. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Purl.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Charlotte’s life and legacy on Wednesday, February 5th. Calling hours will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Hope United Methodist Church, located at 29034 Highway 27, Guys Mills. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, where Pastor Alice McClymonds will officiate and lead those gathered in remembrance and love.
Charlotte will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery. As we come together to honor her memory, we find solace in the joy she brought into our lives-her kindness, creativity, and love will be deeply missed.

Love and Peace Charlotte,
Condolences to the family. We were friends with Charlotte and Tom through “Ladies of the Lake” monthly dinners. She will be greatly missed.
Love and Peace Charlotte,
George and Betty Klein
Char was a wonder woman. One of my earliest memories are of staying at the her house when my dad had a kidney stone attack and feeding popcorn to the dog. As the years went by we enjoyed knowing her as neighbors. Peaceful rest.
We appreciated and enjoyed Charlotte as a very close friend. Her interests were varied, her personality was warm, her abilities were impressive, and her concern for others was obvious. She will be missed by many community groups, guilds, organizations and friends. It is our pleasure and honor to have shared so many laughs, hopes, and experiences with her. We regret that due to previous medical appointments in Pgh on Feb. 5, we will be unable to participate in the ceremony of her life at Mt. Hope, but rest assured that we will miss Charlotte. We send our sincere condolences and best wishes to her family.
