Charles George Eldridge, 51, of Polk Center died at 1:25 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born January 17, 1961 in Warren, PA, he was the son of Charles Andrew and Iris Gustafson Eldridge. Charlie, as he was known to his friends, coworkers, and Northside Cottage roommates, was a hard worker. He worked at the Miller Workshop at Lakeside during the day. He also helped by doing various tasks to clean his cottage and doing the laundry. Charlie was always willing to do whatever was needed to be done to make his cottage neat and clean. He is survived by his father; his siblings Lawrence William Eldridge of Hamilton, OH and Lisa Quinlan and her husband, Richard F. of Hamilton, OH; two nieces, Sue Ellen Quinlan of Hamilton, OH and Krystal Actis and her husband, Marcello of Memphis, TN; a nephew, R.C. Quinlan and his wife, Holly of Hamilton, OH; a great-nephew, Jackson Quinlan of Hamilton, OH. Charles was preceded in death by his mother and two sisters, Mary Sue Eldridge and Rose Marie Eldridge. Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sue Montgomery, Chaplain at Polk Center, officiating. A memorial service will be held at Polk Center on Friday, February 3, 2012.
