Bradley R. Wong, 58, of Franklin, passed away at his home on Friday, February 6th. Brad was born December 7th, 1956 in Duluth, MN. Prior to his death, he had been employed for more than 24 years at Joy Manufacturing as a welder. Brad was an avid guitar player - he recorded his own music and played in many bands. He enjoyed riding his Harley -Davidson, camping and his annual fishing trip with his father and his close friends. Brad was an avid animal lover. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his granddaughter, Jordan.Brad is survived by his wife, Beth Wong of Franklin; his son, Aaron Wong of Hollywood, FL; his father Robert Wong of Decatur, IL; and his mother, Yvonne Chiovitte of Boise, ID;. He is also survived by his brother, Douglas Bryan Wong of Boise, ID; his step-son, Michael A. Heckathorn and his wife, Candi, of Kennerdell; and his 2 grandchildren, Jordan JoAnn Heckathorn and Zac Carbaugh, both of Kennerdell. Brad is additionally survived by his 4 nieces, Jennifer Guidebeck Wong and Samantha Wong of Bloomington, IL, and Sarah Young and Caitlin Poindexter, both of Franklin; his mother-in-law, Barbara A. Boyd of Franklin; and his sister-in-law, Pamela Poindexter and her husband, Jay "Deacon", of Franklin.He was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Alan Wong.Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Saturday, February 21st from 10 to 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. following visitation, with Rev. Dennis Jones, a retired pastor, officiating. Beth, I am so sorry for your loss. Brad was a really great guy! I’m sorry I can’t be there for you but please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God hold you in his loving arms for now and evermore!!

I remember once Brad came out to my house out in the country by Fairfax just to give my mom a ride on his bike she was like 64 and hadn’t been on a bike for like 40 years she love him for that
