Beverly A. Tarr, 74, of 1875 Bradleytown Road, Cooperstown, died at 7:05 PM, March 31, 2013 at her residence. Born December 27, 1938 in Cooperstown, PA, Beverly was the daughter of Orville and Martha (Whitman) Boughner. She was married to Donald L. Tarr Sr., who preceded her in death. Beverly enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening, crocheting, reading, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Beverly is survived by her sons, Donald Tarr Jr. of Cooperstown, Steven Tarr of Genesee, PA, and Tim Tarr and his wife, Kimberly, of Cooperstown; her daughter, Diana Blake and her husband, Roger, of Titusville; and her sisters, Charlotte Fonzo of Franklin, and Doris Greenlee of Cooperstown. She is additionally survived by her grandchildren, Angel Wood of Cooperstown, Melissa Tidd of Seneca, Roger Blake Jr. and his wife, Amanda, of Titusville, Josh Blake and his wife, Kristy, of Cooperstown, Steven Tarr II of California, and Nicholas Tarr and his wife, Tiffany, of Indiana, PA; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, her brother, Merle Boughner, and her daughter, Evelyn Emy Norcross. Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from 3:00PM - 7:00PM. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., with Rick Reagle, officiating. Interment will be in Cooperstown Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Cooperstown Volunteer Fire Department, 152 N. Main Street, Cooperstown, PA, 16317.
