I remember when Burt and Betty were at Pease AFB in NH. Hurricane Gloria was heading there, and Burt was away, Betty alone with the kids. I was just up the road, and family is the best thing to have in that situation. I went there for the night, we made cocoa, played kid games and “camped” in the living room to keep our mind off of what was happening outside. Betty you will be missed by so many. To her family and friends, I have all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
I knew Betty from our growing up days at The First Church in New Bedford..Our parents were close friends..Betty and I kept in touch thru messenger on facebook and i will miss our chats about the old days..May God Bless Burton and all the family and give them the strength they need daily in this time of sorrow. Will miss you Betty…
