Betty Ann McDonald

Betty Ann McDonald, age 84, of Polk, died Friday, July 26, 2024 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. Born on July 31, 1939 in Cambria County, PA, she was a daughter of Clark and Iva O’Hara Woodford. On September 10, 1981, she married Edward Lee McDonald, who survives.
Mrs. McDonald was employed as a Supervisor at Polk Center for 30 years prior to her retirement. Betty was a member of the Sandy Lake Alliance Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, logic puzzles, computer games and going to the casino.
Surviving are her husband, Edward L. McDonald; two sons, Lewis Green of Oil City, Edward A. “Skeet” McDonald and wife Pam of Erie; two daughters, Catherine Chatley of Franklin, Sherry Lee Davis and husband Ronald of Franklin; four grandchildren, David Troup, Angela Moyer, Edward McDonald, Jr., Ronald Davis, III.; seven great-grandchildren, Caleb Troup, Connor Troup, Amelia Troup, Zared Baker, Haven Wilson, Jocelyn Wilson, Anson Moyer; and a great-great-grandson, Elias Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Green; a sister, Marie Hiles; a granddaughter, Angela Price; and a grandson, Matthew Troup.
Friends will be received from 10:00 am to 12 Noon on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin, PA where funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, July 31, 2024 with retired Pastor Pat Confer, officiating.
Interment will be made in the Graham Cemetery.
