Beth Ann Aylesworth Martin, 41 formerly of Franklin passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2024 at St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born on September 28, 1983 in Franklin, she was the beloved daughter of Robert G. Aylesworth and Carol A. (Dunlap) Tantlinger.

She was an active person who loved staying fit and enjoyed working out at the L. A. Fitness that she worked part-time at. She also enjoyed helping people at her other job at Lowe’s.  She loved her family and enjoyed their family vacations in Florida. She loved animals, particularly her dog, Bella.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents Robert G. Aylesworth and his wife, Marlene of Franklin and Carol A. Tantlinger and her husband, Terry of Franklin; her husband, Russell Martin; her children Alexander James Martin and Ella Marie Martin both of Pittsburgh; her step-son Brennan Martin of Pittsburgh; her siblings Richard O. Roberts and his wife, Kelly, of Franklin, Matthew Myers and his wife, Stephanie of Greenville, PA, Robert A. Tantlinger and his wife, Shelley of Franklin, Sarah Reed and her husband, Daniel, of Nunn, CO, Amanda M. Tantlinger and her companion, Jonathan Lasko, of Pittsburgh, and Jessica L. Bubenheim and her husband, Joseph, of Pittsburgh; her father-in-law Gary Fauth of Pittsburgh; her brother-in-law Brian Martin of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

Beth was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Ralph and Carolyn Aylesworth and her maternal grandparents Robert Dunlap and Eleanor Hitchcock.

Guests will be received at the Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Monday, January 6th from 11 am to 1 pm with services for Beth immediately following the visitation at 1 pm at the funeral home with retired Rev. Joseph P. Martin, Jr. officiating.

Beth will be laid to rest in Old Sandy Cemetery, Polk.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Beth’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.

  8. My big cuzzie… I remember how cool I felt when she would include us with her and her friends. We were her lil cuzzies and she loved showing us off. I remember how they would paint our nails and play with our hair. I only wish we had of had more time together. I hope she is in heaven with Grandma and she is finally free. I love you always.

    For the few years I spent living next to you I got to know you as a sweet and kind person. You had the most beautiful personality and an open heart that I admire.

We have a special bond that I’ll forever cherish. Thank you for loving my son like your own. We lost such a beautiful soul, a loving mother and friend.

  14. I was so saddened by the news of Beth’s passing. I will miss her greatly. Beth was a bright light and a beautiful soul. She always had time for others. I will miss her bubbly personality and smile. It’s hard to think that this is real. My deepest sympathy and prayers for her family, friends and precious children.
